A practical route.
From review to receiving.

Material review and coordinated pickup, with tonnage and delivery records.

Start with each material stream.

FRS brings material information, receiving options, and transportation details into one plan. Whether you are reviewing a recurring sand stream or preparing for a change in production, we start with what your foundry generates and how it is handled.

Molding and core sands

Clay-bonded green sand and chemically bonded molding or core sands can have different properties. Tell us about the alloys you cast, the binder system, and whether streams are collected separately or mixed. Those details help define the material review and potential receiving options.

Other foundry byproducts

Baghouse dust, shotblast fines, slag, and other residuals need their own evaluation. Identify them separately when describing your plant’s materials. A receiving option for spent sand does not automatically apply to another byproduct.

Understand material testing

From your plant to the next step.

Four steps connect material review with pickup, delivery, and the records your team needs.

  1. Review the material

Share your material stream, volume, plant location, and available test results.

  2. Plan the pickup

Confirm the receiving route, loading setup, site access, and timing before scheduling.

  3. Move the material

Coordinate hauling around your plant’s production needs and the receiving facility’s requirements.

  4. Receive & record

Deliver to the agreed facility and keep tonnage, delivery, and supporting material records.

Plan around production.

Regular generation, a shutdown cleanout, and a production change can call for different pickup plans. Share your expected volumes, available storage, loading equipment, and pickup windows so coordination reflects the way your site operates.

If an alloy, binder, or collection practice changes, bring that into the conversation too. Updated material information helps keep the receiving plan aligned with what actually leaves your plant.

Bring the plant details.

  • Material streams, casting alloys, and binder systems
  • Plant location, typical volume, and expected changes
  • Storage, material condition, site access, and loading setup
  • Available analytical results and sampling dates
  • Plant contact, pickup windows, and receiving requirements
